OK, time for my 2 cents. I don't think you should do it. The bike just looks like it's ridden. Better to leave well enough alone. I do still polish my pipe when I wash my bike, but it will never be like new. The only way to get that is to buy the stuff to coat the inside of the pipe *before* it is ever ridden. Just remember the next time, if you ever replace the whole pipe or get a brand new bike. If I had known about the stuff before, I would have done it. Just look around at all the bikes. The Savage isn't the only bike with colored pipes. You can also get a heat shield if you can find one to fit. That would actually be the best solution.
